Elderhaus sponsors “It’s our turn” luncheon
On November 8th at 11:30, supporters of Elderhaus, caregivers and those who want to support those caring for the elderly in our community will gather at the Warwick Center on the campus of UNCW to hear testimonials from caregivers; instructions on “having the conversation” with your adult children from Dr. Marsha Fretwell, geriatrician and ElderhausPACE’s Medical Director; information about letting your children know your wishes even if your children are unwilling to discuss the topic from local author, Cenetta Lee, who suggests you leave your wishes somewhere in the house where your children can find them.
The luncheon is free, but donations will be requested. If you have seven friends who can join you, you may have a reserved table for the event. Or just join us , yourself, as we tackle issues that are facing all of us either as potential caregivers or persons actually needing the care.
For more information or to R.S.V.P., call Brenda James at 251-0660 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take it from there. Please join us at this luncheon to get valuable information for you and your family.
